Welcome to Reastaurant Hallingstuene

Situated in the middle of Geilo you find Restaurant Hallingstuene. 
Owned by the well known TV-chef Frode Aga and his wife Berit Kongsvik.

 

The restaurant is furnished like 3 old cottages like “hallingstuer”, with traditional rose painted walls and two open fireplaces. 

One of our rooms functions as a “chambre Separeè” for those groups who would like to sit a bit more private. 

The restaurant seats up to 140 persons and is an a la carte restaurant serving dishes based on excellent Norwegian ingredients with a modern twist.
But we also offer first class hallingkost, which are traditional dishes from the area. 

Our cognac wagon is placed in the middle of the restaurant and is frequently updated to offer our guests the best experience.
